PROJECT ARCHITECT
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

​Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs.

Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.

Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs.

Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.

May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

ARCHITECTURAL EMERGING PROFESSIONAL
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Research tools with the goal of continually increasing efficiency and productivity.

Adhere to deadlines of key deliverables.

Communicate with the Senior Staff regularly, alerting them of possible problems or conflicts with project specs, drawings, vendor delays, etc.

Actively demonstrate organizational and systematic approach to producing a project; understand the necessity to keep the team updated.

Actively demonstrate time management skill and constantly seek to streamline processes and procedures in order to increase quality and efficiency.

Document preparation - drawing and modeling in Revit and AutoCAD revising and correcting redlined documents, and compiling finalized construction documents.

Create presentation content - drawings, diagrams, graphics and other illustrations.

Site visits during the construction phase – coordination meetings.

Field verification of existing buildings during the pre-design phase of projects.

Product research, to select products and design methods that benefit project specific need/requirements.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
Responsible for working side by side in a team environment with our Project Managers, Architects, Interior Designers, and Emerging Professionals on active production projects as well as contributing to other design and marketing efforts undertaken by the firm. As such, you will play an integral part in overall client satisfaction, design quality and profitability of all projects undertaken that contribute to the firm’s strategic priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

​Perform the Architect’s responsibilities during the construction phase, including but not limited to construction document interpretation/clarification (ASI’s), site visits, filed report preparation, proposal requests (PR’s), change orders (CO’s), submittal review, review and respond to RFI’s, applications for payment, pre-installation conferences, Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings, and Substantial/Final inspections.

Maintain an accurate record of documents issued during construction.

Understanding of the design and procurement processes.
-
Work with multiple teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
-
Correspondence with all project participants during construction.
Some travel will also be required (potentially 75%-85%) with the potential for this position to develop into a leadership role.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.

7+ years of solid and progressive work history, with experience administering construction contracts.

Familiarity with construction industry project management software having the capacity to utilize industry-specific programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, Procore, PlanGrid, Tonic, AIA Contract Documents, and Revit Architecture.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to calmly handle stressful situations.

Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with oversight.

Ability to interact professionally with office leadership and clients.
